Housing
Dane County sorely needs to address its housing shortage. David’s experience as Chair of the Cottage Grove Ad Hoc Housing Task Force has helped him develop a great knowledge of the unique challenges and solutions to housing in the 36th District.
Economic Development
With more housing comes more opportunity for smart business growth. As a member of the Cottage Grove Village Board, David has helped move projects along, such as Amazon, Dunkin’ Donuts, Noodles & Company, Comfort Suites, and more.
Public Safety
David has worked hard to make sure our public safety personnel have the equipment and training they need to keep themselves and the public safe.
Biking & Walking
Like to go for a walk or ride your bike? How about take your dog to the dog park? Growing and enhancing bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure is fundamental to David. He helped extend the bike path to McCarthy County Park as well as the upcoming dog park adjacent to Authentix (opening spring 2024).
